Obs:

As a basis, the calculations use AW, the average wage in the private sector as defined by OECD. The compensation rate is the income compared to previous income from work, when previous income was the referenced percentage of AW.
Income is equivalised, that is the increase of the household when a child is born is taken into consideration.

Income

Income in percent of average wage in the private sector.

Country

Norway

The increase in the compensation rate from 2018 is caused by a change in the calculation method of the supplementary private pension payments, which is now based on the distribution for 50-year-olds and not the whole group
of early retirees. This means that the gross income of early retirees with income from earlier employment is higher based on the new calculation method.
